El Alcalde de Chicago Quiere que Conductores Paren en las Vías Peatonales

En un esfuerzo de hacer las calles más seguras para peatones, el alcalde de Chicago Rahm Emanuel ha propuesto cambios a algunas ordenanzas. Actualmente la ley requiere a motoristas “ceder” el paso a peatones cruzando en una vía peatonal. El alcalde Emanuel propone cambiar el lenguaje en las ordenanzas que requiera a los conductores de “parar” para el cruce de los peatones en la vía peatonal. El objetivo es de clarificar al 100% lo que un conductor debe hacer cuando un peatón está cruzando una vía peatonal.
