Taxis Involucrados en 1 de Cada 4 Accidentes Peatonales en el Centro de Chicago
El Chicago Sun-Times informa que de acuerdo con el Departamento de Transporte de Chicago, más de 3.100 peatones resultaron heridos en el centro de Chicago desde el 2005. De ellos, más de 400 de estos o alrededor del 13 por ciento sufrieron lesiones graves o lesiones mortales. Sorprendentemente, uno de cada cuatro accidentes de peatones involucró un taxi.
De acuerdo con el mismo artículo, por lo que va del año, se han registrado 31 muertes de peatones en Chicago.
