Jackson Swartout is originally from Rochester, New York where he graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High School in 2010. Continuing his Jesuit school education, Jackson attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Following graduation, Jackson attended the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center where he received his J.D. in 2017 as well as a graduate certificate in Comparative Law. During his time at LSU, Jackson focused on internal and external trial advocacy competitions, competing for LSU against other law schools.
After graduation, Jackson returned to the Midwest and began practicing as a trial attorney in Chicago in July of 2018, specializing in insurance defense litigation with some experience in worker’s compensation. Since then, Jackson has done trials in the greater Chicago area and focuses in the areas of personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, dog bites, and slip and falls.
